About Alia Marie Hazen

Alia Hazen is an Oregon gal through and through. Born and raised in Portland, she grew up exploring the neighborhoods she now helps clients call home. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations, a background that shaped her communication style and deep understanding of how to advocate clearly and effectively for her clients.

After college, Alia spent a brief chapter at Nike, but real estate had already claimed her long before. She first discovered the industry in high school while working at a title company and knew early on that helping people navigate homeownership was where she belonged. College was simply part of the journey back to it.

Alia began her career as an assistant and buyer’s agent to a top producing broker who became her mentor and foundation in the business. Over the years she has worked within large brokerages, boutique firms, and even spent a decade owning her own brokerage. That full circle experience ultimately brought her back to what she loves most: working directly with buyers and sellers, face to face, guiding real people through meaningful decisions.

She is deeply passionate about homes, design, and the character of Portland’s neighborhoods. Known for candid advice, strong negotiation skills, and a relationship first approach, Alia believes every transaction should feel honest, balanced, and successful for both parties. Real estate, to her, is personal.

Alia has lived on both sides of the river and appreciates the unique lifestyle each offers. She loves discovering great architecture, thoughtful interiors, and the stories behind every home. Outside of work, she has a soft spot for vintage fashion and design, spends time with her beloved rescue animals, and treasures the friendships and community that come from returning to the neighborhood where she grew up.
