Trust matters… This is the one truth I continue to come back to in my career. Everyone probably knows between 10-20 agents through their family, friends, or work associates, and still, my clients choose me. I am so incredibly grateful for their trust. My commitment to every client is to show up whole-heartedly. I’ve cried with my clients when they didn’t get the 5th offer on the house they thought was “the one.” I’ve celebrated and did the happy dance when they did! I’ve also been a marriage counselor, therapist, mover, junk hauler, landscaper, painter, house sitter, babysitter, pet sitter, tour guide, baker, and oh, yeah…their Realtor! 

It’s not about the numbers. For many clients, the first home we walked into was their dream home (I still took them to other homes just to be sure!). For one buyer, I stopped counting after I showed her 128 homes (yes, you read that right, and my sweet client still feels bad about it – but she shouldn’t!). Some relationships are one and done; others have lasted for nearly my entire career. The core of my business is centered around building relationships that last. I’m here to connect and listen to you and give you the benefit of my years of experience to help ensure you have the best transaction. 

I grew up in a small town outside of Chicago (Go Cubs!) and have called Portland home since 1985. Attending Lewis & Clark College opened a world of adventures and opportunities for me. I studied Japanese and Russian—not the most practical choice, but I can still count in Japanese and sing a Russian version of "Happy Birthday" (they celebrate with a birthday crocodile!). My 1987 term in the USSR was full of unforgettable stories. I met my husband at LC and knew Portland was where I wanted to stay. I love being near the coast and mountains, dining at our great local restaurants, thrift shopping, and exploring our vibrant neighborhoods! 

My approach combines patience, generosity, and enthusiasm, making what can often be a challenging process feel light-hearted and fun. I'm committed to being more than just another real estate agent – I’m the person who will talk you through the hard decisions, celebrate the wins and keep perspective when the process feels overwhelming.  We may end up on random topics along the way including animals, baking homemade pies, Swedish Glögg, and sailing. I know I’m not the right fit for everyone and that’s ok. Your person is out there.
